I was a gigantic NBA fan years ago but the Spurs era killed that.

Tonight, I watched the first NBA playoff game I've watched in maybe 5 years.

Checking back out.

I don't give a shot about the Clippers or Rockets, but I see the Refs still decide games.

That ejection of Howard was unreal.

The NBA is retarded.

The clippers are giving the rockets an arse beating. The refs have nothing to do with it.

You do realize that was his sixth foul, right? He was gone regardless of the second T.

How exactly did the refs decide a 30 point game?

Wouldnt make a decision based on one game, the refs make mistakes just like the players do. I'm about 95% sure we'll see a tech from this game rescinded tmrw after the league gets a chance to view the tape.

Lol.. first, he could have been ejected three times over in this game and second, even if he hadn't been ejected he had already fouled out.

Rockets are simply outmatched.. Refs have nothing to do with that.

I'm sorry you don't like fundamental basketball played the correct way by the Spurs

It wasn't exciting enough for him. Not enough dunks, shiny lights, and ISO.

Euro floppers and Tim Duncan.

I came up in the Jordan era and then the Kobe/Shaq Lakers.

I used to sit on a Tuesday night in Nov and watch whoever was on.

Lost interest during the Spurs era for the reasons above and just never made it back.

you're missing the prettiest ball that has been played likely ever. the NBA has literally never had the same sort of movement, passing, and strategy

i used to hate the spurs but what they did last year in the finals is mind-bending. likely the best team ball in NBA history

Agreed. I dislike the Spurs for a few reasons but I respect them greatly. They win with actual strategy, x's and o's, and team ball. It may not be as sexy as dunking all the time etc but I vastly prefer it to watching teams like the Lakers.

Sorry you like shitty basketball. That must suck.

We've also gotten to see 3 games in 3 days decided by a buzzer beater. One by the greatest player in the game, one nasty bank three falling away, and another bank shot with 3 guys draped over him. Pretty exciting.
