Don't you work in the food industry? Atlanta over New Orleans is laughable

You honestly think Atlanta is a better "sports town" than New Orleans?

Um.. One has the big 3 and one doesn't.

Ok? None of those teams are renowned for their fan support New Orleans is a premier national destination for sporting events- Ten Super Bowls, multiple men and women's Final Fours and NCAA Tournaments, the Sugar Bowl, etc etc. The sports media loves coming to New Orleans. Atlanta is no slouch either, but New Orleans has a continual stream of high profile sporting events going on.

Ok? So NOLA is a great host town with one championship and 2 franchises. ATL has 4 soon to be 5 including MLS and WNBA. Atlanta is also a great host town building two new stadiums being built and also one championship.

Not sure it's as cut and dry as you think it is.

Most importantly, Atlanta is the king of cfb.

Simply including the Braves would still be more than NO's 2.

The Braves alone put Atlanta ahead. No other southern pro team has as large a following.

the quality of fans in atlanta is greatly over exaggerated by the dumb fricks on this board, most of who live in cities that wouldnt even be considered for anything above a single a minor league baseball team. i would probably be jealous of the best city in the south too if i lived in shitport or minden or lafayette or whatever other shitty gulf town you fricks live in

What if we live in or around ATL and still recognize how shitty of a sport town it is? And if the money was the same I'd live in laffy over ATL any day. I don't know anything about the other cities you listed.

I'm guessing the Cavs with LeBron are Cleveland's most popular

Ehh, after being in this area for 10+ years, I think the Browns are the most popular team here, even with all the Cavs success this season. Cleveland is a really good sports city who supports their teams (except for the Indians, who have trouble drawing fans for a reason unknown to me).
