Is this the daily thread where folks from a far inferior city that is largely irrelevant to American sport talk poorly about a far superior city that is, by any measure, a better sports town?

Given the city in question, the answer to your question is no. You may carry on.

You're right. There are a couple. Two. Two stadiums are bigger. One by 100

There are also roughly 3 million more people who live in la than atlanta

You honestly think Atlanta is a better "sports town" than New Orleans?

Due to renovations made in the 2012-2013 off season, the current maximum capacity of Dodger Stadium is less than 56,000, although the team's president, Stan Kasten, refuses to provide an exact number.[30] A 53,393 attendance is considered a sellout.[

At this point does anyone even argue that Atlanta isn't an awful sports city? Same goes for Miami.

Miami though does not value college sports over pro sports like Atlanta does. The just need some winners and they'll come (just like nearly any pro sports town at least). The one thing that has kept them going the last 11 years or so is the Heat.

How about Houston for comparison. Keep in mind that Houston is not a basketball town, has many transplants, and they've had trouble generating hype since they had the TV deal fiasco where nobody could watch the local teams. Keeping that in mind...

"Game 7 (against the Clippers) generated a massive 25.1 rating in the Houston market, making it the highest-rated NBA playoff game ever in the market, as far as records go back (2003)."

Also:

"#Rockets-Warriors 2 posts 15.9 Nielsen rating in both Houston & SF-Oak-San Jose."

So yes, 10.1 seems pretty low...

Comparing a game 7 vs a game 3 in a series that is pretty much already decided? Really?

You Houston fans really are something.

god damn you tards just love beating a dead horse

the quality of fans in atlanta is greatly over exaggerated by the dumb fricks on this board, most of who live in cities that wouldnt even be considered for anything above a single a minor league baseball team. i would probably be jealous of the best city in the south too if i lived in shitport or minden or lafayette or whatever other shitty gulf town you fricks live in
