If you look into the deep web there is a site that allows you to bet into rigged games. Idk if you know specifically which ones are rigges though.
Can you elaborate?

Game 7 2010 NBA Finals. Lakers shoot more FTs in 4th than Boston shot entire game. Fourth quarter was called completely different.

The NBA keeps nationally televised games close until the last 2 minutes, I am convinced of it.

Pacers up by a cool 30 with 2:03 left. NBA has a lot of fixing to do to get this one close until 2:00 left.

The NBA is letting the pacers win big in the regular season to set up the hype machine for the playoff series vs. the heat.

Yea but in my fixing 101 class I know learned that you fix nationally televised games in order to build up rivalries and potential postseason drama.

I guess the nba missed that day.

Donehey (sp???) "rigged" games by manipulating the score vs the over/under by calling or not calling fouls, particularly late in games.

Officials have complete control of the game. They control the ebb and flow, they can establish or kill momentum and ultimately decide the winner.

I don't think they receive a direct order from the commish but I do think that they know very clearly what the expectations are.

I can't tell you many games I've watched in which one team was being called for an excessive amount of fouls or penalties but after the outcome is basically decided the fouls and penalties suddenly balance out in the final box score.

I once dismissed the "rigged" argument as silly talk. Then, 2006 Auburn v. LSU happened.

just individual players/refs being on the take?

Players make too much money to be on the take. You can't get THAT much down on a basketball game.
Refs on the take wouldn't surprise me.

There's no doubt about it that games are rigged, fixed, or whatever term you want to use. There's too much money on the line with the books for sports to be pure.

I'll never be convinced that Detlef Schrempf wasn't a point shaving Mofo.

My father is convinced the NFL is rigged. He claims, "These guys get paid to catch a football but drop wide open 5 yard passes. If I dropped the ball at my job, they'd be dropping my nuts out the plant."

Now we know your dad never played football

The only people who think sports are rigged (outside of a token few basketball players shaving points), are completely fricking retarded

I don't think sports are "rigged", but it's hard to be 100% certain that it never happens

I wouldn't say "rigged", but ESPN definitely "controls" or "pushes" the narrative of college football. Not who wins/loses, but who gets pub, gets judged/ranked favorably/unfavorably.

But college football is so subjective it naturally lends itself to that problem.
