Golf pro usually indicates to me club pro, not touring pro.

Cant speak for club pros, but there is money to be made as a superintendent. Maybe not as much as some people wanna make, but if you're the best superintendent -- you'll get paid accordingly at high end clubs.

I look forward to my career in the golf industry even if the sport is still on the downswing. Start at a course in March.

My first round of golf was at the old Riverside/Trenton CC.

Hate to see her closed down.

I think the McQuire family owns the property but they donated to the city of West Monroe with the stipulation that the property would be used only for recreational purposes.

I don't know if the Owens purchased the property or just leased it from the City of WM.

I hope that property is never developed for residential or commercial purposes.
