Well we have 6 games against "podunk" QBs automatically, then Miami, the Jets, Baltimore, Buffalo and Minnesota

We still have Barwin and Reed. It's not as much of a strength as before but it's not a hole. Ryans wasn't an every snap player. The areas I'd like to see improvement through the draft would be younger ILB so Bradie James isn't playing all the time and maybe safety or corner?

I remember him trolling after Mario signed with Buffalo and we traded Ryans though, saying how our defense is more in the 15-20th ranked range and we got lucky playing shitty QBs. So I'm guessing he'll say ILB/OLB and the secondary.

I think our draft order will go

first rd- WR (probably Hill from GT)

2nd- ILB

3rd- DB of some kind

might look to replace Cody as well. Heard they'll likely let him walk after this season

I don't know about hatred, but this is pretty dumb

I guess the big hole is the one guy they lost who only played 5 games last year, but was their best defender from 2007-2010 like that matters.

Damn, I keep forgetting that only 1 guy plays and not 22. Of course they are screwed because they won't be playing Brees, Big Ben and Ryan instead they will get Brady, Rogers and Manning who will not doubt be exactly the same at 36 after a year off as he was in 31.

I would be fine with all that. Cody is good enough but if we got a really good, young NT our Line would be very scary.

Hill screams bust to me. Hope you don't make that mistake. When guys shoot up boards out of nowhere, how often do they work out?

don't know much about him, actually. I was hoping for Randle but it sounds like it's not happening. Apparently Hill won't be ready quite yet but the ceiling is very high with him

I'd be fine with getting an ILB or even OL in the first round and waiting until the 2nd or 3rd for WR. It's a deep class.

IMO it all depends on if they address the glaring weakness of not having a #2 WR.

exactly...Schaub isn't the type of qb who just elevates 4-5 wrs into a legit group...when AJ goes down each year I feel like it puts a burden on the TEs and RBs without anybody else to really step up

yeah WR seems like the type of position where a late round guy can really produce in the right system.

On D if brockers could fall to us, I'd consider him. Big body to plug up the middle and has a ton of upside. I've also heard Chandler jones from Syracuse could be the steal of the draft, so he might be worth a look.

I think Hill is slightly overrated due to what Thomas did last year in Denver.

His potential is through the roof, but not very refined right now.

I mean the guy is 6'4 ran a 4.36 and has a 40 inch vertical

I wouldn't be mad at the pick because it is the one glaring weakness on the team, a #2 WR

arring MAJOR injuries I don't think 10-12 wins is crazy. 9 or 13 wouldn't be SUPER surprising

without major injuries, 9-7 would be a huge disappointment.
Lets say 5-1 in the division, plus Miami, Buffalo and Minnesota at home, that's 8. Haters assume Schaub will get hurt, but Stafford and Cutler are suddenly Iron men ? Lets they steal 1 of those and at least 1 of @Den @NYJ and Bal. Lose to GB and NE. 11-5, 12-4.

Would love to see a WR who can return punts as well. Heard Randle would be up for that role, but he may not be worth it if that's his only effect on the team this year

The Texans may be the most bland team in the league. I guess that makes sense since Houston is a terribly boring city, especially given its large size.

Brockers would be awesome. Someone like him could completely change the dynamic of our defense I think. I'd be really happy with Donta Hightower also. I have a feeling both those guys will go off right before the Texans pick

I'm not that crazy about Hill either, hoping Wright falls if they don't take Randle. There is depth at WR though, if they took a LB/DE in the first maybe some one like Joe Adams in the 2nd or 3rd, he can also return kicks.

some combo of WR/LB in the first 2. They also need depth at OL, but as we've discussed before, the one thing they have done well consistently is find and develop OL.

We have too many other needs to draft a ILB in the first, but it is a need. If there's no DT's we really like on the board, we'll probably grab Hill.

BTW, please don't give soulja attention. he does not deserve it.

I mean other than the Baltimore game last year, Jacoby is a really good returner. I just hate that we gave him a big contract last year to be terrible at WR

Noted.

I was hoping for Randle too, but I think people are saying he has work ethic issues. We'll see, but regardless WE HAVE to get a WR that can start next year, not a project in the first 3 rounds.

Joe Adams was someone I'd be very excited about in round 2 or 3 round because I think we lose a lot of valuable yards (and possessions in the playoffs ) at returner. I think Wright could drop to us because of his slower 40.
