You guys were the "Suprise" teamevery season. Every year was the year that the Texans were gonna break through and win the division or atleast make the playoffs.

maybe we'll ask some other Texans fans, but I think if we had been over-hyped we'd have more than ~6-7 nationally televised games in 10 years

TBH, I think we got picked as a surprise team one year. Last year people picked us, but IDK if you call that hype since we did win the division + a playoff game.

Somewhere I'm sure there was some analyst that picked Houston as a "break thru" team in each season from 07-10. I really don't think it was at a level of "hype".

Regardless, I think the Jets are hyped, not because people are picking them, but because they get a lot of media attention due to their location and colorful HC. The Texans have not gotten near the attention the Jets get, which I think was his point.

who do yall think we take in the first round? i know 98% have us taking a WR, but i honestly think they wont. if we do keep the 26th pick i hope we take RR. IMO Hill will be Jacoby Jones #2 - big, fast, but not a polished receiver and doesn't have reliable hands. With that said, I think that RR will not be drafted in the 1st (unless by the texans). I think we should trade down a few spots and try to pick up another pick or two, and then draft RR

I agree w/ this. I'd even be willing to trade picks #1 and #2 for a proven WR, then draft for D in round 3 and up

whoa, lets not get carried away. I wouldn't want to trade a pick, let alone the top 2 for a WR. Think about it, you are not going to get Fitz or CJ (not that we could afford them under the cap anyway) no other Recs are worth that. IMO outside of RB WR is the most fungible position. You can find those guys. Its a need, but not a give up 2 picks need. Yeah Jones is not good and his boneheaded PR hurt in the Balt game, but realy we lost that game because of an inexpirienced QB.

The more I think about, the more I like the idea of Joe Adams in the 2nd or 3rd and go DE/LB in the first or I wouldn't mind Fleener. I know people will freak out if they take a TE, but as the Pats have shown, 2 good rec TE's is just as good as 2 good WR.

I just don't want them to take an OL in the first round. We dont NEED a starter this year, just someone to develop in the next year or so. That is one things the Texans have been good at, developing the OL.

I'd be fine with DE/OLB, WR, or TE in any combination in the first 3 rounds.

I agree, plus they have shown over the years that they can find and develope OL in later rounds.

completely agree with this. However, all really depends on how Garrett Graham is. No one really knows, except the coaches. I would love fleener in the 1st, an OLB in the 2nd, and a good, under the radar type of guy in the 3rd at WR
