Mine:

1. Lebron
2a Harden
2b Curry
4 Durant
5 Griffin
6 Davis
7 Westbrook
8 Paul
9 Cousins
10 Duncan

Obv "Playoff Dwight" would be top 10 too but he doesn't give full effort in the regular season..I'm fine with that the season is a marathon.

You're going to call me a dumbass then rattle off a top 10 list including Kwahi Leonard and Marc Gasol

And then make up a fake agenda about people on this board showing bias towards Paul when he is despised in NOLA so you can push your Blaks Griffin narrative. And that people are slanted towards AD bc of NOLA ties so you can create this faux internet conflict in your head which allows you to insert what you think is a high and mighty opinion on top players (lol), only to then go back and concede that AD is "a hair or so better" than a guy who you have is a top 7 player already :mind blown:

I don't see Anthony Davis leading his team to championships. Or to finals. Or to playoff series wins.

So, why are we even talking about this scrub? I see so many posts saying "he'll be the best player in ze universe by 25!!!!!!!" Uhm, ok? He's not 25, and he's not the best player in the universe. Until he does ANYTHING why are we talking about this loser? Because all he is.....is a damn loser.

This is unfortunate. Paul did a lot for our community and is a great person. People bitch about his forcing his way out of an ownerless Hornets team, but if he doesn't do that, the team not only gets nothing for him, but we absolutely miss out on AD.

You made a thread in October of 2012 about Derrick Williams being a bust at age 21 in his 2nd year

I never said he was a "player", I said it was ridiculous to call the dude a bust at the time. Just had to call out another one of your great authoritative opinions that was ridiculous

He's 23 now and has played 20+ mpg every season as a contributor to his respective teams and will probably play 10+ years in the league. Bust

you're the best at player evaluation

ETA: this where you tried to call me out 8 months after my take that Derrick Williams was a bust (that he is) while he was being showcased in a lost season.

Doesn't look like a callout. I'd be a little more direct if I were going to call you on your bullshite

You even said he was balling, gave a Antwan Jamison best case, and said he could have a long career... Or is it a bust. Yapping out both sides per the usual with your revisionist history, pal

He may not be an all star, but I don't think you know what an NBA bust looks like. 23 years old contributors aren't busts

talk about being in your head

When you say "is going to be a player" and then later deny that you said it. I know when I see you post in NBA thread it's always good for a laugh.

Racking up points and boards in garbage time doesn't mean shite. He got zero boards in the first half of one game IIRC. Meh.

I would bet that if you ask all the GMs in the league the question,"Which current player would you want to build your team around for the next 10yrs?", 90+% would say AD. (Lebron's age and KD's recent injury taken into account).

Blake could be a HOFr but AD has the potential to be an all time great. Does that answer your question?

Although there has been a thread about it, my observation is that this board gives CP3 a pass
I think that's odd, because he gets wayyyyyy more hate than praise on this board. I believe I've seen 3 posters in the past couple of days actually say LAC woulda had a better chance if he didn't play at all, and they were being serious.

He may not get the hate that Lebron gets or got but that has very little to do with him playing in NO, and more to do with Lebron just being that big of a draw.

how many top 5 guys in NBA (at some point in their careers) thoughout time have gotten crushed for being chokers/not winning a title here or by the media-top of my head

CP3 gets a pass around here
Paul gets crushed for this allllllll the time on this board. I have no idea where you're coming up with this from.

this seems to be commonly accepted but I think GMs woul take curry. Curry is currently on his way to true superstardom. His style of play is what people pay to see. He's just worth more money and is infinitely less likely to have his career dragged down by leg/foot problems.

Curry is also 5 years older than AD which is a big factor. So if you're starting a team, most are taking AD. If it's for one year many would take Lebron or Curry.
