Swap LSU and Penn State because the 112 vacated wins cancel out the poll votes as well

I will guess that State Penn, Tennessee, & Nebraska are never invited to another championship game or the forthcoming playoff, no less win.

ND will be invited and lose in the semi's 40-14.

AP poll has a long history of unfair bias (see: 1966)

Bama should be #1.

Most recognized NC's, most bowl appearances, most 10-win seasons, most bowl victories.

Over the next 10 years I could see LSU surpassing Penn State and Tennessee, possibly even Nebraska. Auburn and Georgia could make a similar rise. USC and Texas will probably pass Notre Dame in the same period. MAYBE Alabama over tOSU, but you have to think CUM is going to have tOSU trending upwards.

This uses a formula that takes into account poll finishes, record, SOS, bowl results, NC's, etc..

I know you like to discredit our NC's, but Bama has more consensus National Titles than any other team. It's not 14 though.

Gumps refuse to accept anything that doesnt have Alabama at #1, it's really obnoxious.

They even got butthurt about not being #1 in the preseason polls

You should like the more comprehensive poll. It takes into account more than just the AP.

And it has LSU higher

Poll rankings are a terrible measure IMO. I think most objective rankings would come out with Notre Dame #1 and Nebraska higher than 8th

Haha, no. We don't want the target.

Its laughable that Bama claims 14.

Pitt claims 6 or 7, of which only 2 are consensus. We claim 14, and only 11 are consensus. Lots of teams claim non-consensus titles. Why aren't you whining about them?
