We don't claim 1966, and I think we have every right to claim it. We started to season #1, went undefeated and untied, and finished #3. This is the only time that's ever happened. We were the only undefeated, untied team. And we won the Sugar Bowl 34-7.
But we weren't integrated yet, and the polls punished us for it. This is the truth. We got screwed. I think the fact that we don't claim that year when we were obviously deserving makes up for some of our dubious years we do claim (like 1941)

You're all missing the point, which is that 21-0 has been posted so many times that it has become meaningless and LSU fans have been desensitized. 21-0, 9-6, whatever.

Actually I whine about UT's a lot more than Bama's.
Edit: UT as in Tennessee. Their 40 and 67 claims are complete bs, and the 50 one is sketchy as well.
