Below

I know how good Singletary was at Baylor

Pace Suh TM7 and Green are in the category above Dorsey and Singletary

Where you can put guys who were just as decorated as both.

Example High Green 4x All American Pace was 3x All American etc.

For College careers only I can list Sapp Emtmann Maryland Kennedy as good as Dorsey.

Michael Vick was probably one of my favorite to not win it, but the best is probably Peyton Manning though. Michael Vick at Virginia Tech was something special to watch though. People forget the 99 year (as a redshirt freshman) Vick led the nation in passer rating (which that part of his is undervalued because of his legs) as well as bringing the Hokies on that run to the title game.

I loved Woodson but lots of great defensive players could have easily pulled off what he did offensively and on special teams.

Just from LSU:
Patrick Peterson and Tyrann Mathieu. Give them 4 or 5 offensive plays a game and they would score at least 2 TD's on the season.

Now what would impress me is a great Offensive player being a game changer on defense a few plays a game. I would have loved to see Jarvis Landry get a few snaps a game at safety.

But Trindon Holiday would have had the Heisman wrapped up if he would have played his best position, Defensive End, while also playing on offense and special teams.

A 5'5" 145 lb Defensive End ... There has to be an inside joke to this.

Tommie Frazier was MVP of three straight championship games? They lost to FSU for the '93 'ship...not sure he won that one.

My vote is VY.

We can probably name several. How about Bobby Layne, a four time All-Southwest Conference QB at Texas, who was a leader of some great teams there. He also had a tremendous NFL career.

Interestingly enough, his high school teammate at Dallas Highland Park, Doak Walker, did win the Heisman.

The Orange Bowl gave an MVP from both teams at the time. Frazier was as much the MVP of that game as Chris Jones was the MVP of the 1995 game.
