During that game Jersey Morin was hospitalized with an elevated heart rate after the 2nd period. The odd thing is they didn't come out and say that until yesterday. During the telecast they noticed he was missing but assumed it was due to an injury the game before.

More importantly offense continues to struggle mainly the PP. Doesn't have much to do with the all star goalie.

Baloo that was a terrible call. Downie deserves a suspension for his bs act right after that. I do not mind a fight, 1 on 1 2 on 2, but not 2 on 1 while another guy is holding the guy down.
Caps looked good last night, Ovie's 2 goals were blasts.
Did anyone else notice Crosby with his cheap elbows again last night? It really seems as if he is buying into being a cheap shot artist the way of the Bruins, but cries when he is checked or even looked at cross.
I saw Chicago's first goal and that was about it.
Just a casual observation, the Kings Hawks game seemed to faster and very crisp at the beginning, the West seems to be that way everytime I have seen them play.

I have been to so many nightmare games at the Verizon Center when the Pens were in town, but last night was the first game I can remember no chirping from the Pens fans.
They started heading to the exits when 3-0, and flooding out when 4-0.
It was fun fun game from a Caps fan view...

I hope tonight the good guys can roll out a Punch Line type performance with a Yves Courmier type slappers from Pernell and Markhov. But what scares me is CP31 thinking since he is in MSG he may want to go Disney on Ice.
Can we get Jacque Plante or Ken Dryden to suit up, since St Patrick is a little busy?

I just hope Pernell decides to start launching bombs from the blue line, for some reason he has stopped lately.
I would really like to see the Habs go into a Diamond formation on the PP, because theirs is so atrocious right now.
If it were me, and I know it is not. I would put Markhov up top Pernell and Maxi on the wings and put Plekanec and Gallagher down near the goal.
Reason I put Gallagher down low is he is a waterbug and get scraps.
