I know you're saying that clowning around, but IMO that is the number one CF offense in my lifetime. Just insane balance and efficiency.

God damn, thats just an awful panel.
I now want FS1 to fail simply for their choice of putting that shitfest panel together.

great offense in Kerry's Sr year, but as a JR he completed 50% of his passes. He wasn't good at all.

I was only half-kidding. The fact that Penn State team went undefeated and didn't get the NC was a travesty.
That offense was unstoppable with KiJana Carter and Bobby Engram

I get what LE is saying about Collins, but for just one year, I thought 1994 Penn State was the greatest team offense I have ever seen.

If we're talking strictly option QBs, then sure. If not, he's not even in the discussion. Great college football player though.

Vinny Testaverde, despite Miami losing to Penn St. He was just so dominant on the field during his 2 year stretch. Dan Marino at Pitt, despite tossing a lot of INTs his senior year. Elway at Stanford, even though they lost a lot.

Finally someone else agrees.
4 year starter. Heisman Trophy. National Champion. Excellent statistics. And single-handedly kept Peyton Manning from being the greatest college QB ever.

Frazier was a great CFB player, but unless you're running a strictly option offense, then no way do you want him as your QB. I'd take guys like Vinny, Wuerffel, Leinhart or other QBs that don't get the recognition they deserve when these threads are brought up.

Jesus Christ Lester. You are an idiot. Go ahead and read those stats at the top of the page and get back to me.

Obviously, football didn't exist for any of these people before they started playing.

I can't think think of many quarterbacks before the 80s who were single-handedly as vital to the success of their team as some of the guys mentioned here. Take Oklahoma during their historic winning streak for example. The starting QB for the 1956 national champs attempted 37 passes the entire season. Bo Wallace almost had that at halftime tonight.

He was a great runner. Crappy passer before his last year
They leaned big time on benson and the defense his soph year. The team itself had a great user but Young was far from elite

Def should be in the discussion. I remember him just placing the ball exactly where he wanted it at any time.

Ever is a hard question ....
BCS era:
Cam Newton
Vince Young
Tim Tebow

Major Harris would be in this discussion if he stayed for his senior year

im 31 yrs old, wuerffel and leinart are the 2 best "traditonal" qb's ive seen.
VY and newton are the best dual threat. I'd take them both over tommie frazier.
