Fox executives and America want Yankees-Red Sox ALCS

It's really that simple. Astros and Indians are too mid market, too Midwestern/Southern.

That's why they've got the Red Sox in a 2-0 hole. Right where the Sox want to be

Stfu America wants to see the clear 2 best teams in the AL
Add in the Dodgers and Nats/Cubs and that would be the most stacked league championship series’ in a long time IMO

I won't mind the Astros...Dallas deserves a ring. However will the ratings be good?

People who aren't dolts and actually watch baseball want the Astros and Indians.

I hope you're referring to Keuchel, because the Astros are in Houston.

Yes, I'm referring to Keuchel. He's a good man.

Also, if America really did want that, it's a result of having fans because they've been force fed those two teams for decades.

I highly doubt that, outside of the Northeast, America wants NYY-Bos. I know that combination would make me watch the least amount of the ALCS.

Fox doesn't want Boston over Houston b/c of the Astros being mid market. The Astros are in a bigger DMA than Boston.
The Astros just don't have anywhere near the same fanbase that Boston does. On top of that NY/Boston is the biggest rivalry in the AL (and arguably in all of American pro sports). It's really that simple.

You're talking about teams that were 10 games worse than their alternatives.

Maybe "America" doesn't want it but you're on crack if you think the execs don't want it.
I don't want Bama and OU in the CFB championship game either.

Of course they do because their ratings are best when that happens.

It’s clear he meant the player, not the city.

No he doesn't he needs to earn it.

It would unquestionably be the best pair of League Championship Series since the Cardinals/Astros and Red Sox/Yankees in 2004. The
