I assume from the body placement that Joe got out of the car. If I'm screaming with someone, no way I'm getting out of the car. Period.

It is unbelieveable to think that a 50 something year old man would get out of his car, scream don't f with me, and shoot a guy, twice. How, exactly was Joe F'ing with him? I mean, what could cause a person to do that.

It's so unreal it's almost unbelieveable, but then, this is not all that different from the Will Smith saga.

That would be my best guess as to what probably happened

The craziest part of this whole thing was the guy not leaving his scene and just turning himself in

No jumping to conclusions here. Already have plenty of those types of comments in the OT thread.

I'm not saying it didn't happen that way... but how often do people get into a heated argument and then one guy just apologizes? I'd say that happens almost never.

Or did he maybe start apologizing once he saw the gun?

Perhaps he saw that this dude was completely unhinged and didn't want to frick with some guy who may do something drastic.

It's the same thing Will Smith's killer did.

I'm not saying that it was justified. I was just saying that other than him being insane, this is the only other reason I could why the shooter would possibly wait around for the cops

I'm gonna guess the shooter thought he was justified.

He probably wasn't, but that's the only explanation for staying that I can think of.

Then again, if the witness story is true that the guy shot him AGAIN as he was standing over him, then he's gonna be spending a decent amount of time behind bars even if he was 100% justified to shoot him initially.

Probably thought he was justified. I'll bet he finds out how wrong he was very soon.

Yeah... obviously people are being emotional right now, but none of us really know what happened.

People are jumping to conclusions one way or the other and filling in their head with what they think happened based on very little information.

People are coming in with their assumptions and biases already and we know next to nothing.

And this witnesses first inclination was to jump on social media after witnessing a deadly shooting... I wouldn't jump to conclusions based on that one witness.

This sucks. Second time in the last ten years we've lost USC Trojans to violence in Louisiana. Ryan Francis was an outstanding guard for SC hoops, but he was killed in a shooting in BR in 2006. He wasn't the intended target.

This thing with Joe McKnight sounds like straight up murder. Very tragic. smdh wtf is wrong with people??
