Saw a rendering of this in an Outdoor magazine a few months back. I think it looks pretty cool, and will be a great event. Stadium seating and concessions for a typically mountain only setting event.

Right there at the bottom. Most of the momentum is expended in aerial stunts, so they don't need much of a runout.

I think it's cool, but I'm no Boston native.
Fenway does host non-baseball events. I was looking at the alumni mag for my old high school and they had photos of the hockey team playing a match there in January.
I got snowed in at school one winter. We lived there, and they were still forced to shut the place down for a week.
