It's a good thing whoever did this sucked. It could have been at the start of the race. And now they hopefully just left the key to catching them with these 2 un-exploded devices.

Agreed. I really don't think this would be on the radar of al-Qaeda, and their attacks are usually much more violent.
I have to think this is either a nutjob like in Aurora or Arizona or some sort of domestic incident.

Yup. I also saw that it's "Patriot's Day" there and pretty much everyone is out of school or off work so whoever planned it was definently going big for symbolisim
