I still have PSVue but this will be the last month. I just have it during football season.

Sling was slightly cheaper but you also get fewer channels. In 2015 the basic sling package was $20 and then $5 more for the ESPN package so PSVue is $10 more.

I have a pile of other services for content. Too many. I've got HBO Now which I need to cancel. I'll pick it back up when GOT comes back.

Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu Plus and CBS Access. Got CBS for Big Brother over the summer and keep forgetting to cancel it. I was keeping CBS for the new Trek show but it looks like that has been having severe problems and isn't close to release. Have an antenna to pick up local channels in digital.

I keep cable because of live sports.

I decided to get rid of it because of this. I mean the main channel I used to watch was ESPN but mainly for live games.

I had got away from watching their other programming a long time before I cut the cord.

I put up an outdoor antenna and can pickup ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX (other local channels too).

that's been more than enough for me. If a game is ESPN I want to watch... well.. I'll go to a bar. I even watched a lot of games at bars when I did have cable.

PS Vue is one of the reasons I bought a Playstation 4 last year. It's a nice fallback option if I ever lose cable. And it doesn't require a contract if I'm not mistaken. How much was the Sling box? What did you do with it when you got PS Vue?

Agree. All the known sportscasters are gone now and replaced with women.

I only watch live events now, I've even stopped listening ESPN radio. I don't care what their opinions are on gays, race or politics. I am sick of hearing this shite.

I used to watch all the time. Now I use it to catch some highlights once a week and to watch live events. Like stated before, most of the non-sports stuff is garbage.

For news I just come here or Twitter. I go their website once a year....March Madness bracket challenge.

Yes.

We don't need the channel for news anymore. I can get up to date and more detailed news with three clicks of the button.

Venture to the tech board and/or do a little research. There are multiple ways to watch live sports for free or a fraction of the cost of cable.

Just heard a commercial for the show and it was him interviewing Schilling and he asked if he was in the Women's March this weekend would he be in the HoF. Here I was thinking Clay Travis fans hated politics in their sports.

ehh. Shitlibs at espn started this when they fired Curt for daring to voice a different opinion than that of the regressive progressive

Sling is an app not a box. PSVue doesn't require a PS. It too is just an app. I have both apps on my Amazon Fire TV.

No contract for either. Cancel at will. No taking any equipment back or picking it back up when you start up again.

Sling was $25 in 2015. Don't know the price now because I prefer PSVUE which is $35.

Im sure it's been discussed, but have they completely stopped showing highlights on sportscenter? I dont watch much, but when I do it's an hour and a half of reporters, bad analysis, and pop culture. 20 years ago it was only highlights, and it was exactly what everyone wanted.

Probably. It was in decline a decade ago and I doubt they've hit rock bottom yet.

Didn't know they were apps, but I have seen the Sling box at Best Buy before. I like there are no contracts. Nice alternative to have. I used to have DirecTV. Paid too much for that.
