I remember watching Tonya Harding boxing in Memphis. The main event that night was Mike Tyson vs Lennox Lewis.

Considering her fall from grace and failure to ever capitalize on her ability monetarily I probably would be too. And plenty of self loathing and double guessing.

But that's life.

Surprised she never tried to strike a book deal about the whole ordeal. I can see that being a money maker. I was actually excited to watch the doc. I was 11 when all of this happened and didn't really follow it back then. I thought the body guard actually did it. I didn't realize there were several other people involved until tonight.

The documentary makes you even feel bad for her at the beginning. Her mother was/is a POS. Tonya should have never admitted to knowing anything. That was a terrible PR move regardless of whether she did or not. Fail by her lawyer or whoever else got her to do that.

Tonya was trashy hot.

I seem to remember a stronger backlash against Kerrigan than this depicted. She was seen as a pretty big cry baby afterwards.

Also remember how anticlimactic it was when Bayul won the gold. Everyone was like.. well so much for that... and it disappeared quickly.

Tonya's ma was working on her 5th husband when she had Tonya. You could say there was some issues there.

I am in love with Kerrington , but I truly don't believe Harding was the mastermind of the whack. I think Tonya found out afterwards but I don't think she ordered the Hit on Nancy.

In addition , a permanent band from professional skating was a bit harsh. IMHO.

Iwhi on Nancy btw.

Yeah or maybe give some sort of exclusive tv interview and make some money off that.

Are we sure she even has a lawyer or PR rep? She hasn't done anything since the boxing stint. It may have been as easy as just calling her house in Oregon.

I mean after the initial arrests of Gilloly and the other two back in '94. She admitted to she knew after the fact and didn't come forward. She should have never done that and just maintained her innocence. That did absolutely zero for her.

I would love rough kinky wild sex play with a young Tonya but I would marry Nancy.

Nancy and her hubby once lived in Baton Rouge.

I missed my chance for my own hit of romance. Lol.

Saw this on her wiki pages

In her 2008 autobiography, The Tonya Tapes, she said that she wanted to call the FBI to reveal what she knew, but refused when Gillooly allegedly threatened her with death following a gunpoint gang rape by him and two other men she did not know. He subsequently changed his name to Jeff Stone and called the allegations "utterly ridiculous".[7] Eckhardt, who legally changed his name to Brian Sean Griffith following his release from jail, died of natural causes at age 40 on December 12, 2007

Instead, she decided to go into boxing.

The reason I don't think Harding was behind it was because she was good enough at the time to make the Olympic team in her own.
