I don't think there has ever been a team make the playoffs with a 15-20 record after 35 games. The Lakers are 15-20 right now.

That's pretty hard to imagine. Making the nba playoffs isn't exactly like making the nfl playoffs. There's been some pretty shitty teams make it.

Heat & Clippers.

Clipppers are just so deep this year.

Heat in a 4-1 though.

The clippers will make it to the western conference finals, but thats as far as they will go. Unless a major injury occurs it will be Heat V Thunder

I think the Thunder will miss Harden in the playoffs. Remember, without him, they probably don't beat the Spurs in the WCF last year.

Harden single handedly won them 2 games because of his play in the 4th Q in that series.

I'm gonna say Heat/Spurs, and Heat in 7.

I really feel like the Spurs matchup well v the Heat, but can't imagine the past prime Spurs beating Lebron in his prime in a 7 game series.

Teams like the Clippers get weaker in the playoffs due to depth becoming less important. Also, I don't know who they resort to for crunch time offense in the playoffs. PG oriented teams have not fared well over the past 20 years.

There's just something I don't trust about the Thunder. I think Durant is overrated and Westbrook is a very flawed player. I think they'll miss Harden and they have an overrated front court. Ibaka is not a great defender and Perkins is a below average center.

They say the Spurs match up poorly against them, but I don't necessarily think they can beat the Spurs again. The athleticism/quickness advantage is glaring but I really like this years Spurs.

Their roster really is pretty unimpressive.

statistically speaking I suppose they are contenders, but I just don't buy that team. Could be wrong.

I usually get annoyed when people say somethings a lock in sports, but I do not give that team any shot to beat a healthy Heat team in a 7 game series if they were to make the Finals.

btw big Mac, even though the Magic are on a 10 game losing streak I keep getting annoyed that they're super competitive ... my Magic under 23.5 wins bet looks shaky simply because they're not a horrible team, just a bad team.

They just don't quit, but don't have the talent to close. It'd be over for you if Big Baby didn't get hurt

I still think they'll go over 23.5. There's enough bad teams in the league (two in their division, no less) who don't give a shite on a nightly basis like they do.

Clippers/Heat. I think the Pacers are bigger threats in the East than the Knicks because you can never write off the league's best defensive team, especially if Hibbert can regain last season's form.

We haven't seen the Knicks at full-strength yet. They'll be a loaded team once Felton comes back.

They haven't been playing like it lately but they have it all. Don't underestimate the importance of having two of the best defensive centers in the league on your roster.

Heat are definitely the favorites of the East but I wouldn't count NYK out. They match up well with Miami.

You guys saying the clips aren't taking into account the style of the game in the playoffs. It slows down into a halfcourt slugfest. Who else besides cp3 is getting a bucket when he wants? Maybe, maybeee Jamal Crawford?

Westbrook and durant can score at will.

Thunder in 6.
