This is a fun thread to look back on. Seems like at least 90% of the thread didn't like the Eagles move.

If he keeps on this trajectory, this post will be prophetic.

bad enough that everyone will be clamoring for the rookie. It happens every time.

On point talent evaluation by the Eagles plus taking immediate advantage of market and trading QB to Minny for a premium= winners.

In baseball a lot of orgs over-churn for more prospects forgetting that the idea is to win at the major league level. Philly seems to have found right balance. Minny, replete with quality young talent, probably made right move in overpaying for QB as well.

This thread confirmed two things:

1. No one here should ever be a GM and

2. If the Browns are involved in any way, it will never work out for the Browns. Ever.

this may turn out to be as bad as any trade ever.

it has the potential to equal the chief (previous years' s #1) and the #3 pick that turned into McHale for Joe Barry Carrol.

I guess the football equivalent is Hershel for a slew of MN picks over a couple of years. Cowboys won super bowls. Thank you MN. that Cowboy trade was contingent on waiver action leading to additional picks. MN was played.

Still think it's one of the worst moves ever?
