I find the conservative hate of BLM amusing and sad. Many conservatives spout anti govt rhetoric and fear govt taking away individual rights.
BLM protests state/govt malfeasance toward African American citizens and does so with empirical facts of govt overreach.
Seems like fairly compatible ideas, except for that pesky fact of skin color.

I'd say the OT was really anti cop a couple of years ago. Couldn't go a day without several threads bashing cops in general and especially those who were trigger happy around dogs.

That's not what I said. There is some bias when it comes to how black people are policed in general. There is even bias in use of force.
However, when it comes to deadly force, studies have shown there is no bias.
BLM is acting like racist police are out there just murdering black people. And it's just not true.

This is more of an OT topic than MSB. People shouldn't lose their life over nothing. Pretty much how are society is that a women is gunned down while her kids are there and we are not horrified by that situation.
Also Frick BLM until they start really helping, even the NAACP started out with the right intentions before becoming race baiting.

What continues to bother me is that we can't even state what the actual problem is. I'm white male and I am deeply saddened by a black woman, that I don't even know, getting murdered while pushing a stroller down the street. It's times like this, when this tragedy happens, that should be another wake up call to these communities to get their shite together. No riots are protests will happen. In a couple days, weeks, or months, this will happen again and again and we still can't make the statement that blacks keep killing themselves. No amount of gun control will help these communities. We'll just continue to redefine the words "racism" and "prejudice" to fit our narratives.
