ETA: Means his top 5 are, in some order, Brady, Manning, Flacco, Rodgers, and Ryan.

I don't have as much of a problem with Ryan as most do. I disagree with leaving Brees out of the Top 5 though, that is just plain retarded.

Joe Flacco a Top 5 QB...

Which explains both the INT's for Brees and the lesser yards/tds for Ryan.

Statistically they had a pretty damn near even season.

that's basically what I was saying to say Matt Ryan had a season so superior that it would vault him over a superbowl mvp and multiple NFL record holder is pretty stupid on Jaworski's part.

Jaws doesn't know what he's talking about.

I'm not entirely sure he's any more qualified to rank QB's than me.

I think the bigger travesty was that he listed 4 QBs as being worse than Sanchez.

Drew Brees #6 in Jaws QB countdown.

Drew made some pretty bad plays last season, but he still one of the best QB's in the league. #6 is just ridiculous.

6 isn't ridiculous when he should be 4 based on last season.

He didn't do anything last season to put him above Brady, Rodgers and Manning. I personally think Manning was phenomenal last season all things considered. That comeback he had with like 35 points in the second half was awesome.

but seriously, 4-6 isn't ridiculous.

Jaws is a moron.

My homerism says Brees is #1. Reality tells me there is not 5 QBs better.

Brees: 63%CMP 5177YDS 43TD 19INT 96.3RTG Ryan: 68.6%CMP 4719YDS 32TD 14INT 99.1RTG So Brees had 11 more touchdowns, Ryan had 5 less interceptions. I'd call that a bit of a wash. The ONLY reason Ryan had a higher completion percentage is because of the Payton absence. You are forgetting that Brees has the record for higher completion percentage in a season. He is deadly accurate. Brees' 2011 stats, which you seem to act like was so long ago, is one of the greatest quarterback seasons of all time. I'd love to hear you make an argument for Brees not in the top 4.

yada yada. Ryan > Brees at the moment
