I'm willing to bet if you asked every NFL head coach to pick a QB to start a franchise with, 100% would pick one of these three guys.

Not Brady and Brees. They have 2-3 great years left and then it's done for them. Most coaches would look at guys like RG3, Luck, CK, and maybe RW.

Manning, P
Rodgers
Brady
Brees
Romo
Ryan
Roethlisberger
Manning, E
Flacco
Luck

This is a pretty solid top ten. Arguably, there are other choices, but the first four are locks for the top tier. The next four are locks for the top tier. I will give the nod to Flacco and my boy Andrew Luck for the final two spots.

Others that missed out by a little are Stafford (probably should be in the top ten, but I am biased), Schaub, Wilson, Cutler, Kaepernick, and Newton.

Also, Ryan is progressing to be an elite qb. He will enter the top tier fairly soon. He is just getting better and better. Ryan has definitely made up ground on most of the field. He is a top eight lock and possibly as high as five.

Drew Brees is one of the greatest QBs to play the game. Jaws is an idiot.

He very likely will finish his career #2 in passing with multiple other records.

He'll also have the most passing attempts of all-time. He's a volume passer who is riding the ignorance and ego of a naive fanbase to a legacy that doesn't match his talent or worth.

But hey, don't let me crash the Brees circlejerk with something as petty as reality.

Is he ranking on performance for next season? Ryan was better last season so why not again this season? Ryan is only getting better and Brees has already reached his peak so I get it.

I don't really think the stats back up the statement.

If we're talking Super Bowls then Eli should be above Brees. Big Ben too.

Both are significantly better than Ryan, so what's your point?

I like luck, I just don't know who I would put behind him. I'm really high on RGIII and kapernick. I think they will change the way the game is played.

Its just good to see Ryan getting his props as a top 5 QB.

I said it back in August....and its proven true today. Winningest QB since his rookie year.

Matty Ice. What more can you say?
