Maybe my inner Bama hatred is showing. I hope they get waxed in the first round.

The only team I think can wax us is OU and that's only if Baker plays his best game ever.

Yeah, their wins aren't that great. LSU and MSU are the best they've got.

And, I've watched the SEC games this season. The SEC just isn't very good.

I've honestly seen more big hits on defense in the Big 12 than in the SEC this season.

Ohio State would take Alabama to the woodshed, bro.

Well yeah exactly. they'd be out, because they wouldn't be deserving...Not because all of the sudden they're no longer one of the four best teams.

They'd be out because a loss to Florida would show that they weren't one of the four best teams. There is no chance they lose to Florida.

frick, if Florida even scores a touchdown Alabama should drop to 6.

I don't know, that's the point of the playoff. I can tell you I think the four best teams in the country are Alabama, Oklahoma, Michigan State, and Ohio State. I don't think it's close either.

No they wouldn't. They lost to Mich State with a backup QB. We'd smack MSU around too. We wouldn't smack Ohio but I'd feel comfortable wed win.

Alabama is something like 9-1 vs top 40 teams. Is it better to play a bunch of nobodies, gain a high ranking then play one or two good teams in the back end of November or play a consistent schedule filled with bowl teams?

I thought that was the language or consideration certain schools fought to keep in. *cough cough*
I don't get it. It sounds like you're arguing for the 4 best teams to make it in while simultaneously shitting on Alabama for creating the opportunity to do just that.

I think any of the other three teams I listed would do that, or better, against the same schedule.

Upsets happen. OU lost to Texas

In my opinion, 3-way tie with Ohio State, OU, and Sparty.
Michigan State wouldn't break 14 against Alabama. Ohio State would probably struggle to reach 17.

They do, but the best team in the country doesn't lose a virtual playoff game to a team like Florida. Do you think if Oklahoma had to beat Texas next week to get in, they wouldn't do that?

They'd only need 14 to beat that offense.

Ohio State would put up 42 points on Bama, if I had to guess.

Wasn't 2001 the last time an upset happened in the SECCG?

LSU beat UT

The upset is coming somewhere this weekend, but not sure which CCG it happens in.
