Sure, they hypothetically would "deserve" to be in, but that doesn't mean they'd deserve it more than four other teams. Either way, they've shown (and stated) that they are looking for the best teams, not the most deserving teams.

Unfortunately Rece or someone at ESPN didn't do the best homework regarding Ohio St supposedly being on our schedule this year, but man I wish they were. I don't doubt that OSU is a great team this year, but so is UNC. I understand it's hard to think of UNC fball in that light, but you don't win 11 straight against decent competition without being a great fball team.

If you're only as good as the teams you've defeated, then OSU could very well be trash this year. Their best win is Michigan who is terrible.

I will cross that bridge if it gets built. It will be an SEC like atmosphere Saturday so I can't miss the biggest hyped UNC game since the FSU game in 97.

Maybe terrible is a little strong, but I don't consider them good. You don't think beating Clemson would be a better win than Michigan? You might be the only person in the country who would feel that way.

I didn't say that either, but your assertion was that they were terrible. I was simply disagreeing with that.
Of course Clemson would be a better win, but South Carolina is a much worse loss and I think has to be considered as much or more than that win. We're really just going in circles, but I'm happy to continue doing that.

Well Ohio State is sitting at home this weekend while UNC plays the #1 team in the country, so I wouldn't count them out quite yet. UNC's strength of schedule at this point is irrelevant when they still have the best team in the country on their schedule.
