How do you feel about Lawson not knowing what a line of scrimmage is?

Thank goodness he was called for that shite

Both teams were deserving but Bama executed just a little better.
This. We've all watched enough football games to realize we just saw two really good teams in an even matchup. Clemson was impressive and a well deserving NC opponent for an equally impressive team. That's why we like this sport, isn't it?

Only Bama gets mulligans. It is in ESPN's contract with the College Football Playoffs and the BCS before that.

Saban gameplanning to gain a possession with the on-side kick is what won that game

And he did that because as soon as Clemson got the ball back they went down the field in two plays. It was brilliant. He knew that D wasnt going to just hold up the rest of the game. He needed something to steal a possession from them.

What the hell does this even mean? A mulligan? You want them to replay the game?

If I'm a Clemson fan, it haunts me thinking about how they lost this. They had two possessions late third/early fourth when they were up three where they could have taken control of the game. It seemed like they went for some killshot throws when they should have run slants/screens or running plays. Then, the fallaway bomb from Coker into a basket. Then, the onside kick. Then, the kickoff return TD. Then, the Howard screen.

Clemson would've won if their defense could tackle as well as Alabamas Right Tackle did on some of those holding calls

Or if they put someone on the right side of a kick off formation

Or if they even tried to cover Howard

Here is a unbiased view-

Outside of 6 plays, Clemson actually dominated the game. Clemson drove up and down the field on Alabama D, while bama scored on a couple of busted coverages and 2 other long plays. Clemson dominated both lines of scrimmage.

The onside kick was the turning point, the second and long completion to Howard sealed the game. Clemson had a player in position to tackle him in the backfield, if they make the tackle its third and 15.

Glad it was a good game, although it was a bit anticlimactic once bama built a 2 score lead in the 4th.

D.Watson's INT is still huge in my mind. If Clemson would have been able to make this a two score game. I think they would have won.

Also, having no answer for Howard was ridiculous.

Clemson did not outplay Bama. Take off your homer glasses. It was a close fought game but, in the end, Bama made more plays.

Clemson played a great game. Your consolation prize will be seeing the game played over and over again on ESPNU until next season starts. Enjoy.

While this year's format would not allow for it, do you believe them to be worthy of a mulligan given the precident?

This is ridiculous. Fluke plays only shouldn't count when they are turnovers.
