The Cubs fan base, outside of the Red Sox, is the worst in baseball, and probably the worst in all of sports. So yeah, there's no way that team ever deserves to win the World Series, and their 107 year streak is completely justified for that terrible fan base.

I wouldn't mind seeing them win. It would make for a nice story and sell a lot of hats to the new life long fans.

It might not be this year but it will happen soon. Anyone who thinks past failures are an indicator of future failure is just plucking low hanging fruit as opposed to really taking a look at what the new ownership has done.
