After having not played for more than a year and a half. I believe a player on the Pacers team that beat the Bulls that series said that it wasn't the same Michael Jordan who had returned. And that makes sense seeing how he hadn't played the game in a very long time.

That's a fine and valid point, but he still didn't go to 6 in a row as some claim. He lost in the 2nd round between 3 peats.

And?

And of course LeBron's championship/MVP numbers look better because he has been in the league 2-3 extra seasons compared to Jordan at the same point in their careers. Also....the game of the late-80s/early-90s is not the same game as it is today. So it's really silly comparing the two.

It still blows my mind that people don't know Jordan played in the 95 playoffs.

It's hilarious because many of them are the types who claim the "got to actually see Jordan play" and that anyone else just doesn't know what it was like back then

In fairness, Jordan came back in the middle of the season and was obviously rusty.

So what? I think the reason why no one counts that '95 playoff appearance is because he barely played that season and he was getting back into the game after having been playing baseball for a year and a half. The only reason he even came back is because he didn't want to be used as a pawn by the MLB in the ongoing 1994-95 players' strike.

When will people realize these threads are completely worthless??

You have your side and that's that. I don't think 1 person has every been swayed to the other side in the 372648 threads comparing MJ and LeBron. People act like picking one over the other is some terrible thing

He averaged 31.5 pts on 48%+ shooting in those playoffs. That's a higher shooting % than any of the next 3 seasons FYI.

You know, other than the fact that he's beaten the best team in the west twice in the finals...

At the same stage of their 30 y/o seasons:

Jordan: 2 Finals, 2 Championships, 2 Finals MVPs, 3 NBA MVPs, and was about to play in and win his 3rd straight Finals

LeBron: 5 Finals, 2 Championships, 2 Finals MVPs, 4 NBA MVPs, and is about to play in his 6th Finals and his 5th straight

Let me add more.

Magic Johnson at age 30: 8 Finals, 5 Championships, 3 Finals MVPs, 2 NBA MVPs

Magic >>>> Lebron.

The funny part is 15 years from now there will be another current GOAT that everyone will be arguing against the Lebron lovers for
