Except LeBron James went to the NBA straight out of high school. Michael Jordan spent four seasons playing college ball at North Carolina.

Nope. LeBron will probably end up playing in 7 or 8 in a row.

At the same stage of their 30 y/o seasons:

Jordan: 2 Finals, 2 Championships, 2 Finals MVPs, 3 NBA MVPs, and was about to play in and win his 3rd straight Finals

LeBron: 5 Finals, 2 Championships, 2 Finals MVPs, 4 NBA MVPs, and is about to play in his 6th Finals and his 5th straight

By any objective measure, LeBron is better than Jordan at this point in their lives...

Lebron at 30 also had been in the league longer but hey lets forget about that.

Also, imagine if MJ or LBJ played in today's stacked west.

Amazing how the narratives would change.

I know. I fail to see how that is a knock against LeBron though.

What if Durant played in the East?

He'd have two titles by now too

Would he be the GOAT then? No

That will always depend on what team they play for.

MJ never played in a shitty conference his entire career. LeBron has literally been in the worst eastern conference decade in NBA history for his entire career. Its really incredible how bad the eastern conference is.

Funny, the same people who say '90s basketball sucks compared to today's game are the same ones that will never take Jordan's dick out of their mouths.

In his prime he would have averaged close to 50 per game vs. the horrific EC. Dat triangle tho

No matter what team they played for, they'd always be a transcendent player....but in a field of teams that could go toe to toe with them every night.

Would make for great theater.
