Also most everyone complained that there wasn't a reaction with what happened vs KC. You think he would have sat idle and not done something? Can't have it both ways, I like that he plays with passion

Last night's issue wasn't a big deal for me. It was more the airplane arms after a single in the first....like his first hit in a 2 weeks and he showboat it. I don't hold it against him that he got mad at himself for popping out and I'm proud of him for not showing out as he rounded the bases on the homerun.

This is the issue. If Gomez was hitting .310 since the trade we would all be much more likely to not get pissed about it. I personally have no problem with it, that's the kind of player he is. Usually when I'm pissed at other teams' players for showboating it's because they are doing something that beats the Astros, not because I think they're a total POS

I have no issues with what Gomez did last night. And I like what he said about the situation after the game - Something like he'd been working extra in the cages lately on pitches in a specific location because he has been missing them too much in games lately. Then he comes up to bat in a game and gets the exact pitch/location he had been working on and he missed it again. He was disgusted with himself.

I have no issues with a guy taking it out on himself if it isn't directed at anyone else. shite, Bo Jackson used to curse while breaking bats over his knee after strikeouts and all the sports shows & the rest of MLB loved it. In today's game a guy throws his bat down in disgust & curses himself and the other team wants to fight over it. MLB players are a bunch of women now!

Good point. I don't think he's a POS. He's is very humble in interviews and seems liked by all of his team mates.

Is Fiers going to pitch Friday? Today would have been his turn on 4 days rest, but did they bump him back to give him more rest after throwing all those pitches in the no-hitter?

I wasn't talking about telling the Yankees something. I wasn't able tonwatch last night and just learned that he popped off.

The bat flipping, the animated way he runs the bases...I see them as antagonist. Just don't like it.

Also, Hinch just said Singleton will be up in September

Useless Carter is useless. But I'm pretty sure this was a planned day off for Carlito so that he can have two full days rest (team off day Thursday). It's not the first time they've done that for the GOAT either.

Yall see the shirtless pics of singleton celebrating the grizzlies clinching last night? Pure awesomeness.

@Buster_ESPN: To review: It's not OK to show anger after making an out w/a big lead, but is OK to clear benches & lecture opponent on 'right way' to play.

So Buster tweets this and a reporter who covers the Yankees responds with this....

@toddpatrickpiro: @Buster_ESPN yes, when one has demonstrated a history of classless baseball antics, while the other is the epitome of class.

Is there a more pompous group of fans than New York Yankee fans? I would tell him to get off his high horse but that bitch is so high the drop would probably kill him.

@EvanDrellich: Springer will go to Minnesota and take BP on Friday early Hinch said. Perfect world he goes out for rehab this weekend.
