That's funny too because Buster used to be a Yankees beat writer back in the day

I don't know the stats but it seems like the pitching has really picked up the slack. Marwin has been on a tear for like a month and a half now too

Let's review...

Guy who has been in a long slump is mad at himself after missing a pitch to hit (that's never ever happened in baseball ever).

Other team, pissy that they are getting their asses kicked, bitches at him simply because they are in a bad mood.

So-called "journalist" covering pissy team decides to defend said team using irrelevant bullshite (Note: As a team, the Yankees have no history with Gomez, a former long-time NL player. Therefore, past opinions of a guy your team has never had issues with mean zero).

Conclusion: Doubling down on being bitches makes you twice as bitchy.

I don't think we've given up more than 2 runs in our last 8 games or something incredible like that

The depth of legit starting pitching under team control for years to come is pretty awesome. We have enough to trade and improve elsewhere even without re-signing Kazmir. Sure, we want Scott back, but only on our terms (3-4 year deal under $20 million per...preferably a 4th year as a team option).

In the second half he's slashing 299/357/481 with 3 HRs and 10 RBIs. Maybe tear was a little strong but he's really been playing well and doing it at like 4 or 5 different positions. He's really been big for us

Should go after price if he isn't much more expensive.

Well, Kazmir will be like $17-18 million per year (a little lower than it could be due to injury history) while Price is getting $30 million per year (Scherzer got that last offseason).

I think Gomez is an idiot at times, but last night was not one of those times. He was mad he missed a pitch. Well you are not suppose to do be mad at yourself because it shows you believe the pitcher made a bad pitch thus showing him up and showing that you didn't deserve the out. That literally is exactly what happened. Screw that. When Gomez screws up(in my mind) i will admit it. Last night was not one of those times.

The sad part is that Yankees fans are so absolutely brainwashed and empty minded they believe that shite.

Good. So now we have the Royals, Rangers, and Yankees to hate. I can get on board with that.
