For the 6th straight game, the good ole boys found a way to get the job done. They aren't steamrolling the opposition...but they are just good enough.

Noted banquet-circuit speaker turned MLB ace Zach Greinke held the Rockies in check and got some help from some of the kids in the pen while cousins Coy and Vance drove in the runs in extra innings to provide the win.

Meanwhile, the good ole boys keep climbing the AL West Standings. The .500 mark is in the rear-view mirror, as are the Rangers.

And now our sights are set on Oakland. God help them...

Meanwhile, our former MVP simply can't find his way right now. It is a struggle all around for the little guy. This was footage of him racing to his car after the game yesterday trying to get the hell out of there...

I think Altuve is so broken, not even this guy could fix him

Here is to the Rockies receiving a proper Frambering at altitude tonight.

Oh, I almost forgot:

Castellani is making his 3rd career appearance and start. He has only totalled 8.2 innings, but has given up only 2 hits and 1 run.

Meanwhile, Framber has only give up 2 runs in his last 19.3 IP.

Tells you everything you need to know about the abortion of an offense we have right now.

If the Giants dont shite on themselves twice vs the As in the 9th last weekend, we'd be a half game out. Let's get these bats rollin and we can take a top 3 seed.

My grade for your recent threads:

A+

The Stros winning 6 straight is a direct result from your threads.

Altuve needs to be a football guy and bury a trash can in center field or something

The return of this Altuve is nigh. He’s been too good of a hitter for too long for this to last.

I believe this.

I don't believe this.

His swing isn't off. His mental approach is what is broken. He has no pitch recognition, no patience, and no ability to control when and when he does not swing.

I think this will be a longer than normal, "what the frick are you doing jose?" slump.

Dusty just said on the Matt Thomas show during his weekly segment that Yordan is probably done for the season.

Correction, he said maybe done for the year. Same difference but left a small door open.

Unless the Astros med staff are complete idiots, he must have arthritis in his knees or some degenerative disease. Otherwise there is zero excuse for them not doing whatever procedure and rehab he needed in the off-season.

If this isn't something surgery can correct, his career is over.

This would be Strom calling pitches if Altuve played for the other team:

Until Altuve lays off the slider way down and away..he wont get right. There is no reason for pitchers to throw strikes to him. We will have to walk some before he hits.
