They are embarrassingly rich.

yea but how far away is he?

is he starting the year at low A, or daytona?

But i agree with you, i think Olt sticks. Shoulder should be fine and he'll start opening day if liriano is pitching.

Bryant has said he wants to play 3B and not OF. I imagine they will grant his wishes

And i guess, in a pinch if say olt bombed, baez struggled and we don't want to play luis there every day we could move lake to 3rd. He's a pretty soft hitter for a CF, much less a 3B, but it's not like the cubs will be competitive anyway.

Or, again that's a lot of bad luck and ifs, would they move alacntara up and over to 3b?

Good for Olt. Hope his vision issues are resolved or at least under control and he can stick up and produce.

Im interested to see what ends up happening with Samardzjia,

Cubs will never have a shot at the WS with Samardzija & Jackson in the rotation. And hopefully Castro can rebound from last year's shitty performance. Im interested to see how the OF from Miami does this year

I like him. 144/185 career K/BB is impressive.

Well I just looked at the schedule, Cubbies aren't coming to Coors until August......during the week. Sucky.

sure they could. If you're talking about a 3 and a 5.

Although i'm bullish on shark and think he can improve to a good #2

Trade a platoon outfield for a platoon outfielder...i'm hoping for a few more home runs from ruggiano (sp) but not expecting much.
