Since this is likely the only time of the year that we're not realistically/statistically eliminated from contention seems as good of time as any for a thread.

MIKE OLT! and Ryan Kalish made the team. Not too surprising. I'm suspect about Olt because I have a hard time believing his vision issues post concussion were related to his allergies, but I am optimistic becuase it's a least one of the upper tier prospects who has broken in. Now to replace everyone's favorite tony campana since the real tony campana: Darwin Barney...

As a Rangers fan I am going to be ticked if Mike Olt becomes the player we thought he would be

I watched Olt a lot when he played in Round Rock. He's a good guy. Good luck to him

I don't know if you've kept up with it, and i'll butcher the story, but supposedly some new eye drops fixed the vision problems post tear duct issue after he got beaned in the noggin.

I hate that someone, not obstructed view, made a shirt with obstructed view's logo. I hope you don't buy one.

Maybe see Baez by June or July.

I know the front office said they're not in the business of giving out cookies but I'm glad they gave us this one. Going to be a long year, at least let me get glimpses of the future.

There's like 4-5 other guys behind him in the system that can be 3b of the future if he fails.

I don't think that was disputed, I was just trying to be more eloquent when I described it this way

I got caught up in all the hoopla about his offense, but what's the general perception of if bryant can stick at 3b? I know villenuava is great with the glove, but can he hit?

I think Olt will stick. At worst be a 30 HR hitter with shitty avg. Supposed to be good enough defensively, but i know his shoulder is fricked up right now

Bryant is no lock to stick at third.

He has gold glove fielding ability.

Best case scenario is that Olt holds 3B and Bryant is moved to the OF.
