If they're going to do this, there has to be a plan to build a MARTA line up to there because people from Downtown, Midtown, etc are not going to fight traffic to get up to the fricking suburbs for game during rush hour.

Downtown/midtown is the minority and getting to the new stadium will be about as difficult as getting to Turner Field for these people.

Gwinett/Alpharetta are the areas that get hurt the most if you ask me... but even then, getting to Turner Field isn't easy for them either.

So, the Stadiums can't last more than 20 years in Atlanta?

Who pays for this?

they could have a mcdonalds and some dive bar next to this new stadium, and it would already be a better experience than currently.

My Braves watching in person is gonna go through the roof. With SWA adding direct flights from OKC to ATL and now moving the stadium much closer to where family have homes out there, it's gonna be nice.

it's kind of a pain to get to braves games when I'm staying with family, so yea, this is going to be so much better having the stadium like 10 minutes away from their house.

Christ on a cracker. Atlanta builds new stadiums like its going out of style.

Georgia Dome 1992-2016
Turner Field 1996-2016

Those buildings must have hoisted countless championship banners.

Old Fulton County Stadium managed to stand for 30 years. Must have been like tearing down the Collesum for Atlantans.
