TCU needs help.

If they and Baylor win out, Baylor wins the conference on head-to-head.

K-State is in the driver's seat at this point. Unbeaten in conference, only loss to Auburn (who can still win the SEC West but also needs help for that to happen). If they win out they have a good argument for selection.

You scored 10 points and were amazingly lucky to win that game. Color me unimpressed.

We ran all over them, had more first downs, and dominated time of possession.

Yet we were lucky to win?

Alright, you're a troll.

It took an epic failure out of their QB for you to win. Yes, you were lucky.

Auburn is a tough team to read in my opinion.

I'm not real sure if bye weeks actually hurt them sometimes. I mean their defense didn't look good at all from what I saw the other night.

their D played okay against Miss. State I thought.

I'll bet they'll be more dialed in against Ole Miss.

if not... they can forget about it.

honestly, I don't see Auburn beating Georgia or Alabama at the end of the year. I think Ole Miss losing to LSU this past week is actually worse for AU. Auburn better stick to their ground game more when they play Ole Miss. I don't see Marshall having that great of a game if they try and be more balanced.

I think Alabama beats Miss. State. Hope I'm wrong there because its been cool to see State on top for a change.

Not really only because their schedule is incredibly hard.

You should start a rebuttal thread on another board about it

How good do these rankings make Moo St look after pounding Auburn?

I think MSU and FSU should be ranked as #1 and 2 and otherwise have no problem with anyone who ranks the Oregon, TCU, Auburn, Alabama, ND, KSU, type teams in any order.

I suspect the SEC bias argument is two sided. One, there are SEC teams (like LSU, A&M, USC at the start of the year and Ole Miss partway through the year) who get over-valued but the teams at the top tend to be quite good. The depth of great teams in the SEC this year is quite suspect though.

Usually you could go 9 plus deep and feel good about the quality of those teams - now we have 14 teams but the 7th and lower spots are pretty meh. Whereas the Big 12 has a surprisingly good depth of pretty good teams with TCU, Baylor, OU, WVU, Ok St, KSU making up for ISU, Kansas, TT, and Texas arguably more than MSU, Auburn, Alabama, UGA, Ole Miss, and LSU can make up for Vandy, MU, KY, Tenn, Florida, and USC.

For now, it's not that important where the one-loss teams are ranked. Out of the 16 one-loss teams, 14 of them play another one-loss team before the season ends. So, it should work itself out.

The depth in the East is bad. There is one good football team in the East. Missouri is not good. Kentucky is pretty decent. I'll say South Carolina is pretty decent, too. That half is really lacking.

Eh, we have more than 7. I'd say every team in the West besides aTm is at the very least formidable. Then obviously Georgia in the East, but also Kentucky and South Carolina are capable of getting you on any given night. I'm not sure I'd put Missouri in that category simply because their offense is so bad.

I don't think Fla State is that good. I'm also going full SEC conspiracy tin foil hat so that it's possible 2 SEC teams meet in the final.

Michigan State and Notre Dame over Ole Miss?

Alabama not in the top 8? Hmm.
