Things will become a lot more clear in a few (3) weeks:

Auburn and Ole Miss play
Ole Miss and Miss State play
Alabama and Miss State play

Then Michigan State and Ohio State play
Kansas State and TCU play
Utah and Oregon play

etc.

We just need to let the conferences do their job and let this shake out.

TCU is also at WVU. Easily could lose that game.

Im very conflicted. It helps Bama a lot if Auburn wins, but I have a bet that Bama will have a better overall record than the barners.

If TCU loses this weekend, I don't think the Big 12 will get a team in.
If Oregon loses to Utah, the Pac 12 definitely won't get a team in.

The Big Ten needs both of those things to happen. Then the Michigan State/Ohio State winner might have its path.

Don't know why I included that one. I think I missed a game of one loss teams in the next three weeks.

You get my point anyway.

I was just including one loss teams that face each other, but there are a bunch of opportunities for 2 loss teams to play spoiler.

My point being that this will work itself out in a few weeks. These discussions always come up and they work themselves out.

I do

I would be shocked if Bama wins out and doesnt get in. They would be ranked no worse than #2 in both polls. Hard to see the com keeping the second ranked team out.

That's not true.

At worst they could be 3rd.

I think Alabama would get in if they win out.

I don't think they will, though.

I really think the SEC champion is going to have 2 losses. Sounds crazy.

They would.

You're forgetting Ole Miss. If they win out, they'd win the West and be ranked above Alabama.

Add in an undefeated FSU, and you get Alabama at 3.

Theyre going to. LSU isnt very good and no one is going to be able to stay with Bama at home

You trolling?

Ole Miss controls their own destiny. If they win out, they would have a head-to-head win over Alabama and would win the West.

They would absolutely be ranked above Alabama.

Ole Miss has the head to head, and would have beaten Mississippi State, Auburn and Georgia.

They would certainly jump them.

LSU isn't very good? They're looking pretty good right now.

And Alabama lost a home game each year from 2010 to 2012. The 2011 and 2012 teams were better than the 2014 Alabama team, too.

State and Auburn are very capable of going in there and not only playing close, but winning.

I'd say it's more likely than not that Alabama loses again.

Nope. Bama will be your 2014 SEC Champ.
