I personally think they put TCU at three to let everyone know that TCU will be in with a win next week. They'll move them back to four and FSU to three if they both won imo

Which wasn't the committee's reasoning a couple of weeks ago.

I'm sure there is more than one factor that leads to each team's ranking. It's probably the combo of a better SOS, and a "better" loss.

it does to a degree. it's not really something you can control, though. it's certainly a good enough schedule. not to mention they haven't lost. that has to be the thing that matters the most, but for some reason, it doesnt seem to be.

And Minnesota wasn't that great of a win. They are an 8-4 team.

Three of their four losses are to top 13 teams. Can another 8-4 team in the country say that?

Kinda silly to penalize teams who attempt to schedule quality opponents and then said opponents shite the bed.

Itd be like LSU scheduling Oregon, TCU, and Notre Dame all in the same year and each of those teams going 7-5.

While Bama schedules Florida Atlantic, SW Missouri, and Presbyterian Agnostics and each of those teams going 9-3.

"Bama has a harder schedule!!" - pleb logic

Seriously? Having 5 or whatever extremely close games against average to bad teams is way different than a comeback win against a pretty good auburn team in a huge rivalry game...

Because Arkansas and LSU are worldbeaters...gotcha

So if MSU had bested Ole Miss would FSU be out of the T4?

If everything plays out this way Alabama vs Florida State is going to be one hell of a football game. Elite talent will be everywhere on that field.

It will basically be an NFL Pre-Draft Scrimmage.

I wouldn't mind watching the CFB scene burn this weekend with this scenario.

Mizzou beats' Bama

Zona beats Oregon

TCU beats ISU

Baylor beats KSU

GA Tech beats FSU

OSU beats Wisco

1. Baylor/TCU Vs. 4. 'Zona

2. Baylor/TCU vs. 3. OSU

The SECRant would break down.

who the frick knows how good a team will be is 3 and 4 years out?

Notre Dame is a national powerhouse, and was trending upwards....OSU had a shot to play in the NCG a couple years ago and had been decent before then, and florida is also a power

its not like FSU went out and intentionally scheduled mediocre schools.

Alabama is gonna wipe out Florida State.

Saban is gonna watch what UF did to that offense, and its gonna get ugly.

If FSU is #4 they get to play in New Orleans. So it might be better that they stay there. (Traveling, etc)

The difference according to Vegas between Bama and Oregon is only 1 point so youre somewhat splitting hairs on opponents.
