Completely agree. He's a hypocritical crybaby too imo

why is it funny that Billups is a candidate when NBA front offices are already littered with former players?

exactly why they should go ALL in for one last title shot.

F the future, I'll take another banner for 5 more years of mediocrity or average play.

I'd throw EVERYTHING possible to make this team a potential contender who can handle GS next year. You're going to lose LeBron afterwards anyway

Blatt would have won more Finals games this series if he was coach. And yet if he lost 4-1 like Lue, he'd have been fired.

LeBron trying to fire ALL THE white people. Next up: Cavs Owner goes Donald Sutherland and gets ousted, LeBron takes team ownership, fires all the other white people.

One problem: David Blatt is white.

i rather have him than all the owners sons that get their gigs without ever actually having to work for it/have a stake it besides being born to the right family.

Where did this "Lebron hates white people" narrative come from?

the OT is leaking in here...the OT where faux majority racial complexes live and thrive. And where you get called a racist if you point our how history has shaped the present day for POC and marginalized groups

I was reading the comment thread on Reddit and one of the posters made a really good point. If LeBron had been born in Memphis or some other city besides Cleveland, the Cavs would be considered the Kings of the Eastern Conference. Gilbert is every bit as bad as Vivek Ranadive. Gilbert has been an owner for 12 years and not one GM has been able to make it to a second contract. How can someone be that impatient and expect to have a successful organization? And if you keep picking bad GMs, why not step back and let somebody else run the show? The guy's a clown.

Beats me, I wondered the same thing. He's highly thought of and was reportedly great in his interview for the ATL job.

I think the amount of genuine/high character owners is in the single digits...

Are there guys who appear nicely when they have to be seen? Yes. Could they be dickheads behind closed doors? Of course and I'm willing to believe that more than the opposite case.
