The Cavs are the best team in the East with LeBron and one of the worst teams in the NBA without him. Say what you will about Curry but there is still nobody in the NBA who impacts a game more than LeBron.

Curry>LeBron right now.
Sorry that hurts your feelings.

BTW LeBron would be ringless without Wade

I haven't looked this season, but I am pretty sure the Warriors had like a negative net rating last year with Steph off the floor

LeBron calls the Cavs "mentally weak"...sits out the next game to rest.

It's insane the level he raises a pedestrian team to. Just look what happened last year in the playoffs with a bunch of scrubs.

Lebron still directly makes his teammates better than anyone in the league with his passing and basketball IQ. He sees the court better than any other player in the NBA.

Curry is close though, because he's so good offensively right now that he demands all five defenders' attention. Because he's such a great offensive player with unlimited range, it frees up his teammates and gets them better looks.

Curry is the best player in the NBA, but I still think Lebron has a bigger net W/L impact on more NBA teams than Curry would.

Yes bc Curry would have won so many rings with those Cavs line ups

Well obviously.

Sure. But that's not a bad thing. Championship teams, even when they have the best player, typically have other great players.

We all know Curry would be knocked out of the first round if the roles were reversed.

Wait wut? Curry would be in the East on the Cavs team and LBJ would be in the West on the GSW team

Anyone care to bump last summers thread about how deep the Cavs roster was and how the league was fricked?

It's always an excuse for the LeBronites.

There are two guys on that team besides LeBron Raymone James who can give you 50...maybe if he would take a backseat to them and do other things to make his team great (why can't LeBron be the small ball 5) a la Duncan or Bosh?

Because he doesn't have it in him.

LBJ didn't play today and they lost by 15 to the Wizards.

And LBJ playing the 5 would do his team no good. LBJ is a facilitator.

I'm fully aware...but that's not the same was taking a backseat to them.

Also, what kind of leader calls the team out publicly and then sits the next game?

Kevin Love needs to be the focal point of the offense.

In the same way that Z-Bo was the primary scorer for Memphis at the height of the Grizz, while Conley and Gasol were (& are) clearly the best players.
