pissed off guy walking out of a presser? Done a million times by other players and coaches in all sports and is meaningless so why keep bringing it up?

Because of the way he's acted all season and I hose who have defended him while being such a terrible person. What was it he said about if you don't want him to dance then don't let him score? Part if his job is to talk to the media after the game win or lose. The public calls him out for being a sore loser, then all the he Panther and Auburn fans start coming out of the woodwork complaining because you could hear another guy in the media room. Do you think that's the first loud press session he's ever experienced? Nope. He left because he's a bitch and couldn't handle hearing a player on the other team talking about how to hey shut Cam down.

I actually saw one article on Facebook from some Charlotte site that spun the incident to insinuate that Cam was being heckled. Panther fans and Auburn fans, of course, began commenting on how he was really just being the bigger man and not getting involved in the trash talk.

Bottom line, if Cam didn't want to be exposed for the poor sport he is, he should've just won the game.

First off, let me say that I'm not the biggest Cam fan in the world. To question his commitment over something like him hesitating to not jump on a fumble is bullshite. He has put himself on the line countless times this season, including going up in the air to get into the endzone, which is one of the more dangerous things you can do as a QB

I'm also sure this has been beat to death on this board by now but I'm just snapping out of my yearly Mardi Gras bender, so cut me some slack

"But we didn't lose that game because of that fumble. I can tell you that" -- Cam

Wow.. The guy is ridiculous. May be true in a way, but you'll never know.. he should take more accountability for it..

His explanations for his frickups are just making it worse. The guy is sputtering and revealing his thin skin.

Completely agree.

I truly am glad he did not win, because his ego was getting beyond ridiculous. This just goes to show he has some maturing to do.

He said, "They don't like my celebrating, then stop it"

Someone stops it and he acts like such a child. He wants to be a professional, then he needs to act like one.

It really is a great thing he didn't win.

God dang it he's supposed to say it looked like the ball was going to bounce towards him.

Wow, if he said that he is a straight up football pussy.

When you play football you go balls out to recover fumbles. I am glad he lost.

I don't think Peyton Manning will ever be mistaken for a hard running, hitting QB.

He'll win multiple rings no big deal

Then again, maybe he won't. Some QBs get to the SB several times and never win it...some get there once and never get back. Others never get there at all.

I'll go out on a limb right now and say that they don't even win the division next year. Saints will take it and Carolina will get the WC. Cam melting further away.

Honestly, he should work on a quicker delivery.

If he doesn't reach his arm back to Japan there, the ball isn't exposed to being knocked out.

You are right, Cam. It was your first fumble that lost the game.

Your 4th quarter fumble you chose to ignore might not have lost the game, but it certainly sealed it.

Of course he would do that. Scoring a TD is a "me" moment - a chance to strut and do the Superman routine.

Grunt work like jumping into the pile to recover your own fumble? Yeah, not so much.

No point in read the rest .

None of us know him personally and to pretend to says a bit more about you. I've blasted him for not falling on that ball b/c that actually matters. All of this whining because you didn't like the way he acted during the season and in a post game presser? How weak do you have to be that the on-camera personality of some guy rustles you?

I'd consider myself a Cam fan, and questioning his commitment to HIS craft would be dumb, but this certainly should make you question his commitment to his team.

Cam puts in 110% effort into Cam. I can live with that when he's also going all out for his team, but that one play defines everything the haters say about Cam, and he can only blame himself for that.

Honestly, Sunday was the perfect opportunity for Cam to prove the doubters wrong. The MVP already discounted those who questioned his talent. Taking the loss with dignity and poise would have won over more fans that a win would have done. It should have been a moment Cam could point to and show how much he had grown up and matured. Instead it is know Exhibit A in support of Cam being a frontrunner.

As a fan, it was wholly disappointing.
