Are you seriously trying to justify Cam not attempting to recover a fumble with the game on the line in the Super Bowl by posting a pic of Peyton avoiding a sack?

No. I wish he would have dove on the fumble but he didn't. I wish Mike Remmers would given better effort blocking that play and the rest of the game but he didn't. I wish our offensive coordinator had made some kind of adjustment instead of trying the same shite over and over but he didn't. I wish Cotchery had caught a pass that hit him in the hands instead of letting it get picked off but he didn't.

His explanations for his frickups are just making it worse. The guy is sputtering and revealing his thin skin.

It is pretty amazing how a bad Super Bowl causes it all to come crashing down and confirms what all the haters have said about him.

he has displayed zero common sense in his replies, no awareness or care at all of how he's coming across.

i bet under armour wishes they'd held off for awhile on resigning him.

You have to be more aware against a defense like that 10-20 yards away from your own end zone.

Anywhere on the field really. He needed to get rid of the ball quick. Terrible game plan and terrible awareness all game.

His lack of footwork under pressure just escalated it further

Cam is 6'6 220+ something pounds and talked shite; he should have dove for the ball. But less people would care if he was a 6'0 190 lbs guy who kept his mouth shut.

Agreed, but even bringing up the comparison is dishonest. The play is brought up because Cam claims to be some sort of demi-god.

I have no fricking clue how it's been twisted into a race thing when explaining this.

Because rather than admitting that you're right, it's easier to just deflect and say that you're a racist.

Eh, Peyton got stripped but I can forgive that. He wanted an extra split second to find the open guy for a TD, but at least he was across the 50. It was a bad fumble but whatever, shite happens.

You have to be hyperaware against a pass rush like Denver's when a fumble basically means a TD for the opposing team and Cam was oblivious to the pass rush twice.

I've heard some analysts on the radio blaming Panthers PR. Why aren't they in his ear helping him out, prepping him?

Like he could've just said I thought the ball was gonna come out and I had to a better chance to get position. I made a bad decision, my mistake. Even if it's bs it would be way better.

My guess is that they are pleading with him, and he just doesn't listen.

His explanation doesn't even make any sense, he still tried to dive on it.

They really should have ran more designed runs and options for Cam on early downs

yup, that would be my guess as well. he's still in the tantrum phase and not listening to anyone.

I'll agree here. The only play I'd say Cam should have gotten rid of the ball was the play where he was strip/sacked from the face-side. Sometimes you don't see/feel blind side sacks comings but he was out of his game not to see that one coming.

Historically good pass rush though so we can't blame the Oline or Cam too much for the sacks.

Play calling was odd considering what Denver did to new England 2 weeks prior. Few screens or slants, kept running Stewart up the middle. Shula gonna Shula.

he should have just said that he thought Ware was going to bat the ball towards him in the scrum.

I just don't understand this whole coverup. Why do people go out of their way to prove Cam is some lovable guy? It's not even a big deal that his personality sucks. What makes it a big deal are all the people who refuse to see it, and give us non idiots shite for saying it. I'm sure we all root for unlikeable people here and there. Some athletes play that role well. It's my a big deal at all. Jesus.
