Now that I watch that gif it's actually pretty funny, Brees doesn't even reach for the ball when he falls in. He slides in on his knees and puts his hands on the ground.

It should have been a moment Cam could point to and show how much he had grown up and matured.

Again, rightly or wrongly Cam said before the game he hadn't changed the perception was just different because they were winning. For better or worse he's not going to change now.

He's going to do it how he wants and he's not going to care what kind of heat he takes for it. I'm sure he will be back to the dancing next year when they are winning and he will probably come across as a sore loser when they lose.

The things I'm talking about aren't really matters of opinion.

I've acknowledged his inadequacies in handling losses and dealing with the media. He needs to just not talk.

The challenge with that is - when you invite the camera and demand the attention by dancing, signaling 1st downs, superman shirt ripping, dabbing, running across the end zone with the #1 sign, give balls to kids, do the running jump shot with teammates, grinning all the while and rubbing it in the faces of opposing fan bases TD celebration when things are going your way...

You can't just NOT TALK when things don't go your way.

I've lived in NC for Cam's entire career and his escalation of all of that "stuff" only coincides with their best regular season ever and a SB appearance.

He should use this as an opportunity to grow and mature, not make excuses for his childish post game behavior.

Freakish talent, incredible QB.

Arrogant, self absorbed prick.

Good thing is - people can change.

Why do you have such a hard time with facts?

I understand that, it's not a great look to the general public. I also understand that's why some people don't like him.

My only assertion is that he obviously doesn't care and it obviously doesn't effect his performance on the field or in the locker room. I also think he's made it pretty clear, for better or worse, as long as those things aren't negatively impacted then he's not going to change.

Says the one disputing a direct quote from Cam that he didn't want to get hurt

You have an interesting take on the term "fact"

If he continues to celebrate excessively when winning but pout like a 3 y/o when losing he can't be defensive (and his defenders can't either) when he's criticized mercilessly.

I can't think of anyone in sports who operates at both ends of the "he's just expressing his joy"/pout like a douche spectrum to the extent that Cam does. No one is close.

I'd also argue that if he continues to operate this way it will in fact have a negative impact in the locker room and on the field.

Things are good:
LOOK AT ME HAVING FUUUUUUN
EVERYBODY LOOK AT ME
LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME LOOOOOOOOOK AAAAAT MEEEEE FUN FUN FUN

Things are bad:
Hoodie
Pout
One word answers
No accountability
Shrink from the spotlight
I'm a sore loser

shite will get old QUICK if that act isn't winning SB's and professionals won't rally around that clown show for long.
