quote:

"I guess I just got to take people's knees out,"

"You just have to go low now, man. You've got to end people's careers. You got to tear people's ACLs and mess up people's knees. You can't hit them high anymore."

"You tell me who you'd rather have?" Meriweather said. "Someone who plays aggressive on the field or someone who beat up their girlfriend?"

I think this guy is my least favorite player in the league. The fact that he's too stupid to find a middle ground between his repeated helmet launching hits and blowing out someone's ACL isn't really surprising sadly.

Points for his verbal takedown of Marshall, though.

Got to agree with him here though.

Football is a grown man sport; while the "end people's careers" statement is out of line, why do we always give players outs for all their legal issues? I mean damn, we have several murderers in the league.

He's 100% right you can't ask players to hit between thighs and chest. That is not football.

because what those people do in their own time is their problem and their own business. Sorry, but work and social life doesn't have to blend.

That's like saying if you worked in an office, the lady down the cubicle from you was a child molester years ago, but she is the ABSOLUTE best at what she is hired to do (Marshall).

Would you rather her or the lady down the cubicle that throws you under the bus to your boss every chance she gets and tries to get you fired from your job (Meriweather).

Hopefully the nfl will start letting guys openly use PEDs to come back from all the knee injuries that will increase due to these new rules.

I'd rather not have either.

I don't want a wife beater or a murderer on my team.

This a-hole should be banned from the league.

I think he was being facetious. But that's just me being a reasonable person, maybe this guy is a psychopath. I dunno.

There is very little "middle ground".
