no clue why they traded Panarin. they are still in cap hell and Panarin was cheap.

Panarin is older and has a 6m cap hit and hits the market after 2018 where he will be looking at even more money.
Saad is younger, more complete player, and his 6m cap hit is through 2020-21 season.

This is what I'm thinking. Panarin is one of the best top 5 pure offensive players in the game IMO. But when they lost Hossa they needed a more complete forward.
