scona's plugs are mainly obnoxious because he acts like his personal sign off on all of his sponsors means jack shite. "So I was just browsing through darren james's site the other day" No you weren't a-hole.
Also the other day he was telling some story about him mouthing off to an MMA fighter in an elevator and the guy literally says "I mean verbally owning people is what I do for a living" #badass
I didn't mind AFR when he started it a few years ago because it was better than anything we had, but now he's just an obnoxious douche. He gets good guests, but he's a God awful interviewer.

Is Jon Fine still on the air? Buddy was at his best in the early 90s when he could talk about Curly. Buddy couldn't handle coaches who actually won big games.

You think he does this just because he feels like it? I'm not in the media industry or anything but I could imagine that there has been some research that resulted in personalized advertising being more effective. Just a guess though, it may not mean jack shite, but he's not doing it just because he feels like it. All about the $$

I thought this too, then I had to work in Monroe for 6 weeks and was forced to listen to their local ESPN affiliate. Just thank God every day that you don't have to listen to that abortion

For print I have to go with Robin Fambrough. She does go out of her way to help coaches that ask for assistance and is usually pretty fair when it comes to writing stories and news.

Worst imo. He says things as fact a lot that are completely just incorrect. He is one of the worst about doing homework on material he plans to talk about and in turn I've heard him as bad as not even know who's in what conferences. The guy is just horrible about getting the facts right.
ETA: Him just refusing to acknowledge anything going on with the World Cup was the final draw for me listening to him. It's like dude this is the biggest event in the world right now and you're above it? Get over yourself moscona, you only can talk local sports and you don't even do that very well. I could talk you under the table when it comes to sports.

Yeah that was a bit ridiculous. I definitely had to turn it off as well when he was downplaying it. I understand it's not 104.5/9's target audience but it is the biggest event in the world and plenty of people were interested when the US was in it and plenty of people still are interested.
Eta: what im saying is I understand if they don't talk about it that much, but don't talk it down like you are high and mighty over the fricking World Cup.
