Brian Butch and Greg Stiemsma who were two 7 footers who played for the Badgers. Both blocked my shot and the balls are probably still in orbit.
Played rec basketball against Jordan Zimmermann, the pitcher from the Tigers, in college. Nothing really memorable sticks out with him though.

Laron Landry as well here. Luckily when AllStars would roll around, he was on our side.

Not necessarily competed against, as we were on the same team. Breshad Perriman, he played college ball at UCF, and a bit of a journeyman career in the NFL thus far(not dissing him in anyway, the NFL is the NFL). He also ran likr a 4.3 at the combine I believe.
He transferred to my school for his senior year, my junior year. I didnt know much about him. I played on defense, so we never spoke much. I questioned if he had favoritism, as he came in a week before the season started and was automatically a starter. The very first game he eliminated those rumors with like 2 or 3 touchdowns. Unfortunately, the 3rd game he broke his foot and was done for the season.
Anyways, track season in the spring came around. I was a thrower but I used to train with the sprinters sometimes in order to boost my speed for football. We were getting ready to run some 200s. He came out there, no warming up or anything like that. He just camr straight to the line. Basically, he gave us all a 10 yard head-start,and proceeded to beat every single one of us(including our fastest sprinters) by 10 or more yards. Worst part about it is I dont think he was even at full speed. He spent the last few yards showboating like Usain Bolt. Nobody came close to touching him that entire practice.
Worst part is, the dude quit immediately after practice because he said track was boring. So years later when he ran the 4.3 , I wasnt surprised in the least bit.

I played football in college as well at a D2 school, but I was a benchwarmer. So although we played against some future stars (Tyreke Hill, Malcolm Butler, and a few others). I dont count them because I was on the sideline the whole time

I played against Lester Ricard in highschool. He rebounded a missed free throw over me and dunked it....on our hoop

Probably Eric Reid. I played tight end, and let's just say I didn't have any catches over the middle with Reid at FS.

Paul Millsap...sent a 3 pointer I shot a few rows deep. He was standing under the goal when I started my shot. Unlikely I made it anyways.

Can't really call it competing, but I practiced with Tommy Haas twice when I was at IMG for tennis the summer after my senior year of HS. He was a top-50 ATP player for about 15 years, former world number 2.
I did play against Maria Sharapova's young cousin Dasha that summer. She was 13 at the time, and was absolutely lethal. I could not believe a girl that small could hit the ball like that. I beat her 6-3 6-4, and was lucky to. She went on to play 4 years at SMU.

Darren McFadden knocked me about 5 yards out of bounds in high school. I was in bounds when he hit me. Thankfully I never had to try and tackle him.
Also played against Travis Wood in baseball.

They killed us my sophomore year. I think we wound up with negative yards of offense for the game. Dawan was their QB and we couldn't stop him either.

My dad played against Rusty Staub, said he was the best baseball player he ever saw.
I played against Dan Wagner (Rummel and Tulane) I was playing third base in legion and he came up to bat. I was standing on the outfield grass behind third base.
Chito Martinez (Brother Martin, some Juco and briefly in the majors before an accident forced him to quit)I had played playground ball with him but against him in high school. That guy could flat out hit.
Never played against will Clark as I was on his team but did get elbowed by him while guarding him in basketball one day practice was rained out, split the skin under my eye.
