So are you saying the 5th best out of 32 for a period of 4-5 years deserves to be in the hall? And like it or not, Super Bowls and playoff wins matter. Ben blows him out of the water in that regard

This feels like 7 minute abs vs 8 minute abs.

If that is a legit argument couldn't I turn back to you and ask, "So you are saying the 4th best out of 32 deserves to be in the Hall?"

And fwiw, I never really gave a HOF or not take, I just think he has a much more solid case than many give him credit for.

To you, maybe. They don't have to matter to me. I'm not arguing what I think random HOF voters I don't care about think, I'm telling you what I think. I don't have to think 1 incorrect way just because a lot of others think that incorrect way.

And he only had 9 seasons of 1000 or more yards and he was the 5th best in 8/9 of those seasons? Not even close man

Overall, yes. He has a very good argument, just as good as Ben or Rivers for that 5th spot.

His Not-So HOF statue should look something like this:

Based on what, 1 ring?

Since 2006 over that 8-9 year span, Romo absolutely has an argument as being better than Big Ben.

2006-2014:

Romo
TD% 5.7
INT% 2.6
Y/A 7.9

Big Ben
TD% 4.9
INT% 2.5
Y/A 7.8

NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!!!

Ever think your way might?

FWIW, I'm juding individuals by individual metrics, you're using team metrics. That's why I know I'm right.

You obviously don't know shite. Ben has more than one ring. Also, way more than 2 playoff wins in his entire career. And romo has had the superior skill players to all these other qbs for his entire career. So yes, like usual, you are wrong

So because Ben won a ring before 2006, you get to count that ring for Ben being better from 2006 on? Man, I DON"T KNOW shite!!! I had no clue you can count pre-2006 accolades to the 2006 and on discussion. Silly me!!!

Team stats, I'm judging teams. If you want to discuss Cowboys vs Steelers from 2006-2014, let me know, we can do that.

Like usual? When else have I been wrong, since it's so usual?

I am talking careers which is what the hall of fame judges you on.

The entire sport of football is a team aspect. Romo is not throwing to himself so yeah team records and stats get into the discussion.

The man had a first ballot hof tight end his entire career and two definitive number one receivers. How many other qbs can say that? No Brees, not Rodgers, not Brady, not Manning and not Big Ben.

No I just find it laughable when people overrate romo. Being the 6-8th best qb in league does not make you a hall of famer.

So, more team stats. Got it.

The best 2 QBs always play in the SB, is that the argument? Or does sometimes, lesser QBs play in the SB and better QBs do not?
