I would put Roeth ahead of him. Roeth at his best was better than Romo at his best.

From 2006 onwards Romo was a better player than all but Rodgers, Brees and Peyton Manning.

Why do people keep putting Romo ahead of Big Ben in this dumbass HOF debate?

Yeah, pretty glaring omission from that list.

Hall of Fame QBs from this era:

(1) Brady
(2) Peyton
(3) Brees
(4) Rodgers
(5) Roethlisberger
(6) Eli (2 Super Bowls probably gets him in)

Outside looking in:
(1) Rivers
(2) Romo

Good call.

Funny thing about Big Ben, he got better, MUCH better after he won 2 titles. He's a funny case that shows why the "Count the Rings" argument is silly.

I'd take Romo, but have no issue with going Ben over him. So unless I'm forgetting another guy, Romo is at worst 7th, but arguably 5th, so 5-7 it is.

Someone is noticeably missing from this list.

Brady, Manning, Brees, Aaron Rodgers, and Roethlisburger are all better than him. He had a solid career, but lets be real.

He's in the same level with the Eli Manning, Phillip Rivers, and Russell Willson.

Eli separated himself being on great teams. With 2 rings

Completion % yds Td's Int Rating
Rivers 64% 45,833 314 156 94.7

Romo 63% 34,183 248 117 97

So you think the 7th best out of 32 is a hall of famer? Not seventh best all time but 7th for a period of about 4-5 years?

I think he's 5th best, fwiw. Just saying I see the arguments for Rivers/Big Ben.

And it was closer to 8 seasons, not 4-5.
